The team at Rackheath based CIM Signs & Graphics has been rising to new challenges during the Coronavirus crisis to enable it to continue trading, while also supporting businesses who are open during lockdown.
Signs have been CIM’s lifeblood an// passion for the past 20 years. During the coronavirus pandemic, the team has devised a suite of COVID-19 signage packs to enable businesses to display clear safety messages to staff and customers. The packs feature a choice of pre-designed floor and window stickers, banners and A boards, which are quick and easy to put up around shops and premises. An accompanying brochure has been created, all in record time.
CIM has also been making the most of its expertise to diversify into bespoke protective safety screens using materials it is well accustomed to from sign making. Demand has been so significant, Perspex is now in extremely short supply.
In order to continue regular communication with customers during lockdown, CIM has learned new marketing skills. These include email newsletters and communications, as well as increasing its social media content and online competitions to reach customers who are working from home.
Mark Baker, managing director of CIM, said: “The coronavirus pandemic has created unprecedented challenges for small businesses such as ours. I am so proud of the entire team here at CIM who have been working hard to enable us to continue to trade and provide services to our customers. While we have been working remotely and in line with social distancing, it is brilliant to see everyone pulling together virtually to get the signage packs designed and produced, screens fitted and marketing out there to share our products. Customer feedback has been fantastic and is testament to all at CIM to have been working tirelessly to make it happen.”
CIM is running a skeleton staff during this time to ensure the safety of its team while also ensuring orders are fulfilled quickly to service demand.
Established in 2000, CIM is the region’s leading signs, graphics and wide format printer, providing everything from exhibition panels and bespoke office wallcoverings to store fascias and car livery.
