South Norfolk Council has a treat in store for children this Summer with an all new jam-packed programme of fun activities throughout the holidays.
South Norfolk Council Cabinet Member Councillor Yvonne Bendle said: “With over 80 fun and exciting activities on offer at Long Stratton and Wymondham Kids Camp, there’s something for everyone and no day’s ever the same! It’s great fun for children and running from 8-6pm, it’s ideal for working parents, or for those looking to break up the long holiday.”
Kids Camps based at Long Stratton and Wymondham Leisure Centre are open until 3 September for children aged 5-15, and this Summer there is some great new entertainment on offer.
At Wymondham, award-winning entertainer Steve Sausage will perform Harry Potter themed magic and help aspiring wizards perform their own magic spells. In the pool, there is a new giant 12-meter dual lane inflatable obstacle course, providing enormous fun for little swimmers.
Over at Long Stratton, kids can have a go on a bouncy castle and an inflatable obstacle course. As well as meeting and handling mini monsters – including reptiles, spiders and snakes.
Children at both camps will be able to party with legendary children’s entertainer James D. His Party Time set will have the kids throwing shapes on the dance floor and taking part in all sorts of silly games. They can also catch a Mad Science show and join in wacky experiments that make learning fun.
There’s a huge range of activities on offer ensuring there’s something for everyone, including roller discos, karaoke and circus skills and crafts such as keyring and bracelet making, as well as sports such as rounders, football, dodgeball and tag rugby.
Kids Camp costs just £27 per day and £18 for half a day, it’s also Ofsted registered and accepts childcare vouchers.
Discounted rates are available for Leisure Passport holders.
