Conservation Week – 1st – 7th August

  • Part of our mission at Africa Alive Zoological Reserve is to accelerate the preservation of wild and native species for a sustainable future. But we cannot achieve this alone.
  • Week 2 of our Six Weeks of Summer program celebrates our conservation initiatives and aims to bring learning to life.
  • With increased conservation talks and a free conservation-themed trail, learn more about how we are protecting critically endangered animals, saving wildlife, and improving biodiversity in our environment to help tackle the climate emergency.
  • As part of ZSEA Conservation week, we are asking the public to become ‘conservation citizen scientists’ helping us to spot and identify native species on site. Our guests will have the opportunity to learn more about how we are making a difference locally, through collaborations with the RSPB’s Operation Turtle Dove and habitat management for native species.
