Unlock the door to the secret garden at Norfolk Dinosaur Park

Join Dippy and friends in the Secret Animal Garden at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure’s Roarr! Goes Wild event from Saturday 18 – Sunday 19 May in Lenwade, Norfolk.
As part of the event, children and families can embark on a British Wildlife Trail around the park, and enjoy animal interactions and displays including hedgehog homes, pond life and butterfly hatching in the barn.

For one weekend only, Dippy has invited some of his friends from the British Wildlife Trust, RSPB, Norfolk Naturalists Society and Fritton Owls to the park. Guests can visit them throughout both days and enjoy activities such as owl talks, guinea pig petting sessions and reptile encounters.

The park is also giving local kids the opportunity to become a ‘guardian angel’ to one of the park’s chosen animals. This will include two 45-minute sessions on learning how to care for your animal, a photographed certificate and a few T-Rex-cellent gifts to take home.

Ben Francis, park events manager at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure said: “We’re pleased to be able to bring Roarr! Goes Wild back again this year after last year’s success. It’s great to see all children of all ages interacting with the huge variety of wildlife we have here at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure.

“Each year we expand the variety of activities we have on offer at the park and there is now so much more for children and their parents to choose from during their visit. All of the park’s attractions, including newly-reopened Predator High Ropes and Dippy’s Splash Zone, and the new soft play area, Dippy-Ville will be open for children to enjoy throughout the event.”
During Roarr! Goes Wild, the park will also be running craft sessions, wild face painting and some roarr-some competitions over the weekend with a chance to win a goodie bag filled with toys, games and Roarr! tickets.
